Toshihiro Nii
Attorney at Law

Toshihiro is the Founder of Nii Law Office (current Nii & Hoshi Law Office). He graduated from the University of Tokyo (Faculty of Law) in 2012. He went on to further his studies, graduating from Graduate School of Law and Politics at the University of Tokyo (Legal Training and Research) in 2015 before completing his training at the Legal Training and Research Institute and registering as a lawyer in 2017.

Joining Okabe & Yamaguchi in 2018 he has built up a reputation as being a specialist having handled national and international litigation cases. These include cases related to fires involving ships and warehouses, disputes under charterparty, collisions, sinkings and cargo disputes.

Toshihiro is a member of many prestigious organisations including the Tokyo Bar Association, Japan Marine Procedure Commission Agent Association, The Maritime Law Association of Japan and The Air Law Institute of Japan.

Hideki Hoshi
 
Attorney at Law 

Hideki joined Nii & Hoshi Law Office in 2025 from Okabe & Yamaguchi. He graduated from the University of Tokyo (Faculty of Letters) in 2013 from the Graduate School of Law and Politics, the University of Tokyo (Legal Training and Research) in 2016.

 

A specialist Marine Counselor and Marine Procedure Commission Agent, he completed his training at the Legal Training and Research Institute, registering as a lawyer in 2019.

 

Hideki is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association.

 

His extensive, varied experience includes fires involving hospitals and warehouses, disputes under charter parties, collisions, sinkings, cargo disputes, ship arrests, criminal casework, labour disputes, medical cases, and confirmation of shareholder and inheritance work.

 

Hideki is the co-author of the Latest Harassment Countermeasures Model Textbook - Corresponding to the Manual Introduced by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (Shinnippon-Hoki, 2021)
